Humanize an AI email

Paste an email you drafted with ChatGPT or another model. The tool marks the lines that give it away, then rewrites it shorter and plainer while keeping your greeting, sign-off and every fact. Free, no signup.

Highlights update as you type and stay in your browser. The two buttons send your text to an AI model for review, and we keep it for 30 days. You get 20 checks and 5 rewrites a day.

This tool measures writing patterns. It cannot tell who wrote a text, and its score should not be used to grade, hire or discipline anyone.

What gives an AI email away

Most AI emails fail the same way: three sentences of warm-up before the request, and a closing line that repeats it. People reading on a phone skip to the question, and if they have to hunt for it, the email reads as generated.

HabitTypical lineWhat the rewrite does
Filler opener"I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out regarding..."Starts with the subject or the ask
Buried requestThe question sits in the last paragraphMoves it into the first two sentences
Stock wordscrucial, robust, align, invaluable, shared visionUses the plain word or cuts it
Not X, it's Y"The goal is not to rush, it's to make sure everyone is heard."States what you want
Cheerful sign-off line"Looking forward to hearing from you!"Ends on the last concrete point, keeps your sign-off name

What the rewrite keeps

Your greeting line, your sign-off and name, every date, number and name in the text, and the point of view. It won't add a deadline, a meeting time or a reason you didn't give. Where a line would be stronger with one, the tool asks you for it instead: which report, which day, how long the call should be.

The rewrite usually comes out a little shorter. It is told to stay within 15% of your length, so it won't turn a long update into two lines.

Before you send

  • Read the subject line on its own. The tool doesn't see it, and models write the same generic ones ("Quick question", "Following up").
  • Check that the ask has a date or a size: "15 minutes Thursday" gets a faster yes than "find some time".
  • Cut one paragraph. If the email still works, leave it out.

How it works

This page runs the same tool as the AI Humanizer. Yellow highlights come from rules in your browser and update as you type. Check sends the text to an AI review that flags whole sentences in red and gives a 0 to 100 score. Rewrite writes three versions, reviews each, keeps the best, and repeats once. The score measures writing habits. It cannot tell who wrote a text. How we tested it, and where it is wrong most, is on the main tool page.

FAQ

Will the person I email know it was written with AI?

We can't promise either way, and we don't test against detectors. The rewrite removes the habits our review flags, and the details you add from the list are what make it sound like you.

Does it keep my greeting and sign-off?

Yes. On this page the rewrite is told to keep the greeting and sign-off lines exactly as you wrote them and to change the body only.

Is my email stored?

Yes, for 30 days, when you press Check or Rewrite. The text goes to an AI model hosted on Tencent Cloud and we keep a copy for 30 days to fix mistakes. The highlights under the box never leave your browser. Don't paste anything confidential.

How many emails can I check?

20 checks and 5 rewrites a day, free, with no account. Each email can be 40 to 1,200 words.
